Two exquisite Japanese concepts, Sushi Zo and its adjacent sister cocktail lounge, Gishiki Lounge, have finally opened in Tai Kwun, Hong Kong's center for heritage and arts, located at 10 Hollywood Road in Central, Hong Kong.
World famous Japanese chef and Sushi Zo founder, Keizo Seki, brings his esteemed and Michelin awarded omakase restaurant to the lower ground floor of the newly renovated historical Police Headquarters building. Sushi Zo Hong Kong is led Seki's head chef, Fumio Azumi, whose exceptional talent consistently dazzles guests with his mastery of skills followed by passionate explanations of each piece being served.
Exuding style, intimacy and "beyond words" taste, Sushi Zo is often rated as the best omakase dining experience in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo and Bangkok
Meaning “I’ll leave it to you” omakase dining at Sushi Zo is a committed experience, shifting the paradigm of the guest chef relationship and completely empowering the chef. With only two sittings per day for a maximum of 12 people, the chef is entrusted to create the menu each night based on the freshest fish and ingredients, flown in daily from Japan.
Sushi Zo Hong Kong’s three highly skilled chefs create an elaborate array of ever-changing and seasonal dishes. Directly in front of guests at a stylish sushi bar, guests are offered an extremely personalized 18-dish experience. The seafood is carefully selected, prepared and presented one dish at a time, when flavor, temperature and texture are in a harmonized ‘Sushi Zo state’ (known as Ittai-kan). The 18-dish menu is priced at HK$2,500 per person, with sittings at 6:00-8:00pm and 8:30-10:30pm daily.
