Tsunan Museum of the Lost, An Exhibition On Paper: Leung Chi Wo + Sara Wong in conversation with HG Masters

This artist book Tsunan Museum of the Lost by the Hong Kong duo is an exhibition on paper—an extension of the artists’ contribution to the Echigo-Tsumari Triennale 2018. Exploring alternative approaches of reading photographs, it addresses issues of memory and identity through production of text and images, in a way subverting conventional historical narratives, within the social context of the little Tsunan township of Niigata. The speakers will share the ideas behind the project as both an exhibition and a book.

Leung Chi Wo + Sara Wong, co-founders of Para Site and finalist for the Signature Art Prize 2019, represented Hong Kong at the Venice Biennale in 2001.

HG Masters is deputy editor and deputy publisher of ArtAsiaPacific.
