“Contagious Cities: Far Away, Too Close” explores the outbreak of Plague in 1894 – a dark time in early colonial Hong Kong. How do we confront this history, 125 years later? In a corner in Lower E Hall, we have prepared a series of picture books for us to rethink illness and health, loss and hope. Once a month during the exhibition period, “Sunday Stories” will engage kids in understanding the urban life around us through stories and crafts.
- Each participating group consists of one family pair (one adult with one child)
- 5 family pairs per session
- Suitable for children of 3-6 years old
