Violent delights have Violent ends
Generational conflict is nothing new. In Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the feud between the two families leads to the death of a young couple. If it happens in today's world, would it still end in tragedy? Or would it end in an even more tragic way?
The world today is full of chaos and restlessness with the breakdown of interpersonal relationships and the threat from information explosion. Can the young couple be masters of their destiny, or will they be forced to end in tragedy again? Can they rewrite their fate and change the ending? Will the world welcome the blessing of the youth or strike back ruthlessly?
Different from the original story 400 years ago,we take the archetypal figures of Romeo and Juliet to explore how family, romance and social expectations become the trigger of generational conflict. With the theme of "love, madness and death", it aims to find a way out for "youth" and cheer for "passion". In this workshop, the theatre will be a space for dialogue to discuss why we get lost towards the future from a broader and open-minded perspective.

- Registered audience shall sign in in-person 15 minutes before the performance. Any unclaimed quota may be released to walk-in audience 5 minutes before the performance. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis
